To many of us, this summer was one that we were looking forward to because it was going to be a time of beaches, movies, and hanging with friends all night. Unfortunately, those wishes of summer have been put to an abrupt stop. With the coronavirus still here the summer looks bleak. Hanging out with large groups of friends is most likely not going to happen, and to add on, we’ll be recommended to be in quarantine until the end of summer.

Many of us will miss all our friends, but the last thing that you want to do is hang out in large groups and end up spreading the coronavirus. Flattening the curve is the most important thing to do right now, and by avoiding large groups, you can play a large part in helping. You might ask what you can do stuck at home during the summer, the truth is that the internet provides almost endless opportunities. If you’re looking for something productive to do, you can look at the courses on websites like Coursera or Skillshare to learn new hobbies and useful things like coding to help your resume, If you’re looking for something more fun, there is an enormous amount of games to play online with friends, ranging from to Call of Duty: Warzone. To add on, this is a great time to get ahead in any school-related material, like the SAT or your AP classes. Here’s looking forward to an amazing year, have a safe and great summer Huskies.
