Center Ice Gets a Makeover

John Oh, Editor-in-Chief

Over the summer, our school had a makeover that enhanced the look of Center Ice. The once old, cracked pillars seemed as if they needed a renovation. The pillars now exude Husky spirit and pride with the Husky logo on each of the large pillars. The centerpiece, however, is on the wall of the Center Ice stage, showing off a brilliant image of Huskies, giving off a majestic look and tone to the area as well as finishing off the look of the pillars. The new look of the pillars gives a more modern feel of Center Ice, with no stains or cracks to be seen on the pillars anymore. The new look gives the students a more spirited environment as well as a cleaner look to the lunch areas where so many students spend extended periods of time. The mural on the stage and the painted pillars give a new look to the scene, as well as glowing with royalty and Husky Pride for the school.
