Winter Fashion Show

Mariam Bartolozzi, Staff Writer

On Friday, December 8th the FIDM Fashion Club had their second annual Winter Fashion Show. With the help of multiple groups from around the campus, the show was a total success. Since the event was completely free, a lot of people showed up and enjoyed watching the outfits going down the runway. The show was divided in three sections: Alicia’s costumes, Thrift Shopped Looks and Individual Own Outfits. The models had multiple quick changes that made it a little bit challenging, but at the end everyone was ready for their moment to walk. Instead of an intermission they had a special guest, Sam Luján that sang “ Love on Top” by Beyoncé beautifully. The event went smoothly, and each model got a positive response from the audience. At the end of the show, the club presidents gave a little speech thanking all of the people that made the fashion show possible. They gave a special thank you to Mrs. Avalos, the event-planning teacher for helping with the setup and cleanup, Mrs Vivanco, the club advisor and theatre for helping with the lights and sound. After the show was over, pictures were taken and donations were given. For the great response received from the people, the club has decided to put hands in action and is already preparing a future Spring Fashion Show. So if you couldn’t make it to this incredible fashion show, get ready for the next one, and don’t miss out! Congratulations for a great Winter Fashion Show Huskies!
