CHHS Choir Spreading Holiday Cheer for Breakfast

Lydia Kelley, Staff Writer

As the Holiday season is beginning, it’s time for the annual choir pancake breakfast fundraiser at Chino Hills High School. This event sparks the holiday spirit and involves the community each year. This year the event will take place on Saturday, December 8th in the MPR next to center ice. The event will be held in the morning from 7:00am to 12:00pm. The choir students will be preparing breakfast for the community, the breakfast will consist of buttermilk pancakes, bacon, eggs, and sausage, served with orange juice, and chocolate milk. While the families and friends enjoy their freshly prepared breakfast, the Treble and Chamber choir students will be singing several Christmas carols to enrich the moment and spread the Christmas cheer of the holiday season. All of the proceeds that choir receives from the event will go directly towards the choir students and their choir tour in Seattle this year. In Seattle, the students will perform their music for others as well as explore the beauty within the city. The choir is working to raise funds for their trip later this year and can’t wait to see the community of Chino Hills come together for this winter breakfast fundraising event.
