Calling all Disney lovers!! Disney+ is an all-new primary streaming service. The official launch was November 12th and it already surpassed 10 million subscribers the day of its launch. Disney+ is also ad-free with many streaming options such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Fox channels. It offers both animated and live-action classics. For those wanting to join, it has a 7-day free trial and after seven days it is a regular $6.99 monthly fee or a $69.99 yearly fee. Once joined, it offers a profile picture option of 200+ beloved characters, from Buzz and Woody to Elsa and Anna. The app gives its users the option to download the movies when users don’t have access to WiFi. It features older Disney channel shows like Lizzie McGuire, Proud Family, and Monsters at Work. Not to mention new shows like the High School Musical series, and The Mandalorian. With all the rage coming in about Disney+, this also creates some issues with other big-name streaming brands such as Netflix.  Disney has made it so that these other big-name brands can no longer stream their shows and movies. So Netflix has to bring up some older nostalgic shows from our childhood and try to keep their viewers. Does the Nickelodeon television show Victorious ring a bell? Well, Nickelodeon has brought Victorious onto its streaming service and people are very excited. November 2nd, Netflix added Victorious, Sam and Cat, and Hey Arnold. Some see this as Netflix pushing it out there to keep a hold on its viewers with so many of its customers turning their attention to Disney+. With all these new and nostalgic movies and shows from our childhoods resurfacing, it’s a very happy and thrilling time. We congratulate the success of Disney+, and can not wait to see what these big streaming services have in store for us!
